Mells Football Mini’s Program 

 

U5 - U7 

 

Our Mini’s Program provides a structured and engaging introduction to football for young players. Sessions focus on fun, fundamental skill-based games and core technical development, including passing, first touch, ball mastery, basic dribbling, and learning to use both feet.

 

This program serves as a player’s first true step into a structured training environment. Our goal is to accelerate their development early so they are confident, well-prepared, and technically ahead by the time they enter the MiniRoos pathway.

 

 

 

Program Details:

• Schedule: Saturday mornings during the school term (full schedule below)

• Location: Yarraville Glory Football Club, 250 Fogarty Avenue, Yarraville

• Start Date: Semester 2 commences on the 18th of July, 2026

• Session time: 8:30am - 9:45am  

 

 

Tournament Eligibility:

 Only players enrolled in Mini’s program are eligible for MFA tournament selection.

Please note: participation in the program does not guarantee selection for tournament squads.

 

Coaching:

 All sessions are led by our experienced and accredited MFA academy coaches, ensuring a high-quality training experience.

 

Uniform Requirement:

Academy training kit to be worn at each session. 

 

 

 

Program Fees:

• Yarraville Glory FC players: $440

• Non-YGFC players: $500
